Step-by-step guide
- 1
Find your Optiphone agent number
Log in to app.optiphone.ai and navigate to Settings. Your unique agent number is displayed at the top of the page.
- 2
Turn on call forwarding
From your business phone, forward every call straight to your agent number. This is direct (unconditional) forwarding: all calls go to your AI agent and your phone won't ring first. See the Provider Direct Approach section below for the exact code to dial.
- 3
Test the forwarding
Call your business number from another phone. It should connect to your AI agent straight away, without ringing your own phone first.
- 4
Verify in your dashboard
Open Call Logs in app.optiphone.ai. Forwarded calls appear there once your agent has handled them.
Provider Direct Approach
Works for Telstra, Optus and Vodafone mobile services: the codes are the same across all three.
Choose your provider, then dial the activation code from your business phone. Replace [agent number] with the agent number shown in your Optiphone settings.
**21*[agent number]*10#Dial this, then press Call. Every call now goes straight to your AI agent.
*#21#Dial this to see whether forwarding is currently on.
##21#Dial this to send calls back to your own phone.
SMS method (Telstra)
Prefer not to dial codes? Telstra customers can manage forwarding by texting these commands to 144. Replace [agent number] with the agent number shown in your Optiphone settings.
CFU ON [agent number]Text this to 144 to send every call to your AI agent.
CFU StatusText this to 144 to see whether forwarding is currently on.
CFU OFFText this to 144 to send calls back to your own phone.
The SMS option is currently available for Telstra. On Optus and Vodafone, use the dial codes above.
